Bundle  Utility that puts a bunch of files into a single executale that can runs executable, batch (CMD and BAT), VBS and JS script.

Introduction

Bundle is a Windows program that will let you to put some file togheder and produce a single executable.

Bundle requires at least Windows 9x/ME.

Using Bundle

You should start Bundle from command prompt or from the desktop shortscut.

Command Line Options

Bundle supports the following command-line options:

In the current release options are not available.

     

If you run Bundle without any without any parameter you get the Bundle's main screen.

Main Screen fields

Into the main screen you find the following fields:

 

BUNDLE NAME

Name to give to the executable.

 

MAIN PROGRAM

Select the main program that should be execute.

 

PARAMETERS

Specify additional parameters to append after the executable command line.

 

BUNDLE CREATION FOLDER

Folder where the bundle executable will be created.

 

BUNDLE EXTRACTION FOLDER

Folder where extract files '.\' means same where bundle starts.

 

BUNDLE PASSWORD

Bundle module protection password. Is optional but if assigned the password will be required before run.

     

Main Screen options

Into the main screen you find the following options:

 

RUN ON CONSOLE SUBSYSTEM

If checked the builder will start the process on the console subsystem

 

COMPRESS ALL FILES

If checked the builder will compress all files.

 

ASK BEFORE EXTRACT

If checked the builder will ask a confirmation before extract

 

DELETE AFTER RUN

If checked the builder will delete all extracted files.

 

ACTIVATE ISOLATION

If checked the builder will extract files under unique sub folder created into the extraction folder.

 

USE COMMAND.COM

If checked and the main program is a .BAT script the script will be run using the COMMAND.COM interpreter.

 

USE RANDOM NAME

If checked the builder will generate a random name that will be used for the main program.

     

Note

USE OF * IN PATH: Marks the beginning of relative sub folder, environmental variables like %TEMP% are allowed
Valid MAIN PROGRAM types are .COM, .EXE, .BAT, .CMD, .JS and .VBS.

Return Value

Bundle returns zero if succeeds or non-zero if fails.
